Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, cut into pieces, room temp
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Line muffin tins with paper liners. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a mixer, beat butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar, beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Mix in flour in 3 additions, alternating with milk. Add vanilla, mix to blend.
Scoop batter into cups, 3/4 full. Bake, 15-18 minutes.
Let cool.
To assemble: core out center of cupcakes, fill with pastry cream. Replace top of core. Spoon ganache over top.
