- fresh jalapenos
- cream cheese softened
- strips of Monterrey Jack cheese
- bacon slices
Cut fresh jalapenos in half length-wise and deseed.
Soften cream cheese. Cut Moneterrey Jack cheese into strips about 1/4 inch wide and slightly shorter than the length of jalapenos.
Fill each half with softened cream cheese. Press strip of Monterrey Jack cheese into cream cheese. Wrap with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Place in jelly roll pan. Cook at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until bacon is done to desired crispness.
