Chocolate Chip Cookies
Amazing, soft chocolate chip cookies with lots of potential for variation.
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp AP flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 12 oz chocolate chips
Preparation time 15mins
Cooking time 75mins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients. Slowly add to creamed mixture, beating until nearly blended.
With a bit of flour still showing, hand mix chocolate chips just until blended.
Drop spoonfuls onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake 10-14 minutes until golden.
Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
