Applesauce cake

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 c flour
• 1 3/4 sugar
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp cloves
• 1/2 tsp allspice
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 c shortening
• 15 oz applesauce
• 3 eggs
• 1 c raisins
• 1 c walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

combine all ingredients, adding eggs last.

pour into 13 x 7 greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
