Ingredients
- 2 lbs. hash brown frozen potatoes, thawed 30 minutes
- 1 cup finely diced onions
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (16 oz) container sour cream
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 cup or more grated yellow cheese (1 cup+ of
- chedder cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into a 9X13 greased baking dish.
Sprinkle 1 cup of crushed potato chips or corn flakes over the top of the casserole. If using corn flakes, mix the corn flakes with approximately 1/8 cup of melted butter.
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. May be prepared ahead of time.
