Heather's Homemade Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Quaker Oats
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • Two 1 1/2 oz. boxes of raisins (1/2 cup raisins)
  • Dash of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Bring the salt and 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium size pot. Add the Quaker oats and cook them according to the directions on the container of oats. *Make sure to stir occasionally.* Add the brown sugar evenly in the pot; Add the raisins and 1 cup of water. Mix thoroughly and serve hot.
