Ingredients

  • Cream together:

  • 1 C Shortening

  • 1 C Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 C White Sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • ADD:

  • 2 C Flour

  • 1 tsp Soda

  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

  • 1 C Sour milk or buttermilk

  • 1 1/2 C Chopped Raw Rhubarb

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Top with mixture:

  • 1/2 C White Sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 C Nuts

Directions

Bake in 9 x 13 inch cake pan for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
