Daddy's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 package dark chocolate cake mix
  • 4oz package instant chocolate pudding
  • 16oz container sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 stick butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 10-inch Bundt pan.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, eggs, oil and coffee liqueur. Beat until ingredients are well blended. Carefully fold in 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips. Batter will be thick. Spoon the batter into the Bundt pan. Bake for one hour or until the cake springs back. Cool for 10 minutes then turn out of the pan and cool completely.

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips with the stick of butter. Stir the melted chocolate and drizzle over the cake when cooled.
