great for caramel apples or caramel apple bites

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup karo surup
  • 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tea. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heat all ingredience in a double boiler except vanilla.
stirring constantly, will burn easily, on med heat
when temp reaches 235-240 degrees remove from heat and add vanilla.
let cool a few minutes then pour in to cookie sheet, or dip apple slices into it and put on waxed paper to cool.
