CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP

Ingredients

  • Black beans, corn
  • 1 1 1 onion
  • 1 1 1 clove garlic
  • 2 2 2 chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 3 3 3 medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 4 4 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 t salt
  • 1/8 1/8 1/8 t pepper
  • Cumin, chilli powder
  • dd fresh lemon or lime juice

Preparation

Step 1

4 oz can of chopped green chili peppers or any fresh, mild pepper, seeded and chopped.


Serve with grated Monterrey jack cheese, cilantro, tortilla chips and avocado.
