Sweet Orange Butter

Ingredients

• 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
• 1/8 teaspoon vanilla
• pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Using a stand mixer fitted with the whisk, whip the butter on medium speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Add the sugar, orange zest, vanilla and salt, and whip unitl combined, about 15 seconds, then increase the speed to high and whip until very light and fluffy, about 2 minutes, scraping down the bowl as needed.
