Intoxicated Angel

Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake,baked and cooled
  • 3/4 c Tia Maria or Kahlua
  • 3 Almond Roca bars,crushed (or more if you like)
  • 2 c whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp icing sugar
  • 3 Tbsp liqueur

Preparation

Step 1

Place the cake on a dish and prick holes all over
Combine 3/4 c liqueur with 3 Tbsp whipping cream
Pour 1/2 over cake
Cover and chill cake for 1-2 hrs
Flip cake over and repeat procedure with the remaining liqueur mixture
Chill again for 2 hr before serving
Whip remaining cream
Fold in icing sugar and 3 Tbsp liqueur
Proceed to ice cake
Garnish with crushed Almond Roca bars
