Caramel Oatmeal Pecan Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-pupose flour
  • 2 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda. Cut butter into flour mixture until crumbs form. Reserve 2 cups of the mixture.

3. Press remaining mixture into the stoneware bar pan. Bake 10 minutes.

4. Spoon caramel topping over crust, spreading to the edges. Add pecans to reserved crumb mixture; sprinkle over the top. Bake 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool, cut into bars.
