Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup melted butter
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Cup light corn syrup
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 9 inch pastry shell
- 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
Combine butter, sugar, and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Cool. Add eggs, vanilla, and salt; blend well.
Pour filling into pastry shell, and top with pecans. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. Yield: one large 9-inch pie.
