Ingredients

  • 3 ½ c. flour
  • 1 c. warm water (btwn 95-115)
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 T sugar
  • ¼ c. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Add salt and sugar to water then add yeast.
Wait 5-10 min for yeast to get foamy
Add flour to bowl with herbs – oregano, basil, garlic
Add water mixture and 2 T. olive oil to flour.
Mix until combined. Add more water if necessary.
Knead for a couple minutes.
Form into a ball, place in bowl with 2 T. olive oil.
Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 30 min – 1 hr until it doubles in size.
Dump onto a floured surface and roll/press dough into round crust.
Bake @375 for 10 min
Add toppings
Bake @375 for 15 min or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
