Ingredients
- For cake:
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2eggs
- 1 large can fruit cocktail, undrained
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- For icing:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk

Step 1
For cake:
Cream sugar and eggs. Add fruit cocktail and then dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes until tooth pick comes out clean.
For icing:
Boil all ingredients until thick. Pour over cake while both are hot.
