Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb powdered sugar
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1/2 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together all ingredients until it resembles cake batter.
Place in freezer until frozen.
To serve, place one heaping tablespoon of batter in each mug and add two (2) ounces rum.
Fill mug with boiling water and stir.
Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
