Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 6 bell peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 TBSP. chopped onions
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce/spaghetti sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cut tops and centers out of peppers
2. Boil peppers in water for 5 minutes
3. Cook beef and onions. Add rice, salt, garlic and 1 cup of spaghetti sauce.
4. Stuff peppers with mixture and stand up in square baking dish.
5. Pour remaining sauce over peppers.
6. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes or until the peppers are tenter.
7. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
