Rhubarb Dessert

Ingredients

  • Mix to crumb state:
  • 1-1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • In saucepan mix:
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 cup rhubarb, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cook rhubarb mixture til thick.
Put 3/4 crumb mixture in 9" x 13" cake pan.
Add rhubarb mixture on top.
Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Cut while warm.
