Hamburger Steak & Gravy

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. season salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
- 6 tbsp. All Purpose Flour
- 3 c. Beef Broth

Step 1
1. Mix beef, egg, bread crumbs, pepper, salt, onion & garlic powders and Worcestershire together in a bowl. Form into balls and flatten into patties.
2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Fry patties and onions in oil until patties are browned. (About 4 minutes per side.) Remove patties and place on a plate and keep warm.
3. Sprinkle flour over the onions and drippings in the skillet. Stir in flour with a fork, scraping bits off the bottom of the pan. Gradually mix in the beef broth. Season with season salt.
4. Simmer and stir over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or until gravy thickens. Turn heat to low and return the patties to the gravy. Cover and simmer for another 15 minutes.
NOTE: Serve with rice, mashed potatoes or noodles.
