  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ c. bread crumbs

  • ⅛ tsp. pepper

  • ½ tsp. season salt

  • ½ tsp. onion powder

  • ½ tsp. garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil

  • 1½ c. thinly sliced onions

  • 6 tbsp. All Purpose Flour

  • 3 c. Beef Broth

1. Mix beef, egg, bread crumbs, pepper, salt, onion & garlic powders and Worcestershire together in a bowl. Form into balls and flatten into patties. 2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Fry patties and onions in oil until patties are browned. (About 4 minutes per side.) Remove patties and place on a plate and keep warm. 3. Sprinkle flour over the onions and drippings in the skillet. Stir in flour with a fork, scraping bits off the bottom of the pan. Gradually mix in the beef broth. Season with season salt. 4. Simmer and stir over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or until gravy thickens. Turn heat to low and return the patties to the gravy. Cover and simmer for another 15 minutes. NOTE: Serve with rice, mashed potatoes or noodles.
