Cheesy Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp margarine or butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 slices process American Cheese, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups original rice, uncooked

Preparation

Step 1

Bring milk, water, margarine and salt to boil in medium saucepan. Add 4 slices of the cheese; stir until completely melted. Return to boil

Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir. Garnish with remaining 2 slices cheese.
