Italian Meat Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 c. celery chopped
  • 1 c. carrots chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion chopped
  • Put in food processor and puree
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 c. potato flakes
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 c. parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 T. chopped parsley
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 T. Worcheshire sauce
  • 1/1 t. pepper
  • 1/4 c. tomato sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Soak potato flakes in milk. Stir in beaten egg. Mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix will with your hands.

Form into a loaf and bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour.

I use potato flakes as we have to have food gluten free, however you can use bread instead.
