Bunny Muffins

This is the first recipe that I created after Jay and I were married. It is much cheaper (and has excellent flavor) than buying a breakfast sandwich at one of the fast food restaurants.

Ingredients

  • 1 English Muffin, toasted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice American Cheese
  • 3 twists of cracked pepper from a pepper mill
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 slices of bacon, cooked
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Using a fork, mix the egg and milk in a small bowl. In a small pan, melt the butter; Pour in the egg mixture. Cook the egg until it is done on one side and then flip the egg completely over and cook the egg on the second side. Butter the top of the English Muffin. Remove the egg from the skillet and fold it in half on the bottom of the English Muffin. Add the cheese and bacon slices (in a "t" shape) on top of the egg. Add the top of the English Muffin and serve hot.
