Roll Out Sugar Cookies

Old cookie recipe I used as a little girl.

Ingredients

• 4 cups flour
• 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2/3 cup butter, softened
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 4 tsp milk

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Mix well and chill dough thoroughly. Roll out dough and cut into shapes as desired. Place on greased cookie sheet 1/2" apart. Bake at 400 degrees for 9 minutes.
