Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup light Karo syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups nuts, broken
- 8 quarts freshly popped corn

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a 2 quart saucepan. Bring to boil over low heat
2. Cook five minutes or until it reaches 248 degrees.
3. Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda.
4. Pour syrup over corn; mix thoroughly.
5. Bake in large roasting pan at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
