- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 c. flour
- fruit preserves, any kind
Beat butter and cream cheese in lg. bowl w/ elec. mixer at med. speed till fluffy. Gradually add flour. Beat at low speed till mixture forms soft dough. Divide dough in half. Wrap each half in plastic wrap. Refrigerate about 1 hr. or till firm.
Preheat oven to 375. Roll out dough half at a time on floured surface to 1/8" thick. Cut into 2 1/2" squares. Spoon 1 tsp. preserve into center of each square. Bring up 2 opposite corners to center, pinch together tightly to seal. Fold sealed tip to one side & pinch to seal again. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-13 mins. or till lightly browned. Remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
