Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz. can stewed tomatoes (for ex., Smith's brand with green peppers, onions & celery)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of black pitted olives, thinly sliced
  • 2/3 cup couscous
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 TBSP garlic and onion powder (each)
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 tsp. cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Put all the ingredients except the couscous and olives in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
2. Add couscous and stir; remove from heat and cover.
3. Let stand for 5 minutes.
4. Stir in olives and serve.
