Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/2 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 5 T Butter melted
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 to 1 cup walnuts chopped
- Cake:
- 2 1/2 8 oz packages Cream Cheese
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 5 Eggs - separated - beat whites stiff with cream of tartar
- 1 pint Sour Cream
- 1 t. Lemon Juice
- 1 t. Vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
*Crust*
Melt butter - add crumbs, nuts, and sugar - press into bottom of the spring form pan (pam the pan first)
*Cake*
Mix the cream cheese soft - gradually add the sugar and cream well
Add egg yolks one at a time add vanilla and lemon juice, pint of sour cream
fold in egg white (beat stiff in another bowl w/ cream of tarter)
Pour into spring form pan
_Cook_
start at 400 when put in cake turn down to 300 cook for 1 hour, turn off oven leave for another hour open door for another 1/2 hour.
