  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 lg egg
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • peanut halves
  • red licorice


Cooking time 10mins


Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, egg and extracts. Gradually add flour. Dough will be stiff. Cover and refrigerate approximately 1 hour.

Shape 1 TBSP dough into teardrop. Pinch front to make eyes and nose Use peasnut halves for ears. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in 325F oven for 10-12 minutes. Take out of oven and use toothpick to poke hole in rear and insert red licorice for tail.
