Ingredients
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 small red onion -- thinly sliced
- 2 cups red cabbage -- shredded
- 2 cloves garlic -- minced
- 3 tablespoons parsley -- chopped
- 2 teaspoons thyme -- chopped
- 1 cup chick peas -- drained, rinsed & pa
- salt & pepper
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt
- 1 lb dried spaghetti

Step 1
Heat olive oil in skillet, add onion and cook slowlhy for 5 minutes. add cabbage and garlic and cook, stirring for three to four minutes.cover and cook for 5 minutes longer or until cabbage is wilted down and tender and crisp. Uncover pan, add parsley, thyme and chick peas. Season w/ salt & pepper. Cook for 4 to 5 miutes, stirring completely and allow the flavors to merge. Cook pasta w/coarse salt. Combine & Toss.
