Ingredients
- 6 – 7 lb beef brisket
- 1/3 C lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 C brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 C ketchup
Preparation
Step 1
1. mix all ingredients together very well and pour over beef brisket
2. bake covered for 2 – 3 hours at 300°
3. cool the brisket completely
4. slice the brisket as thin as possible and remove all fat
5. mix the following together: 2 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp water and ¼ C brown sugar
6. spread mixture over the brisket
7. cover and bake at 300° until desired tenderness
