Deviled Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C white onion, chopped
  • 1/4 C celery, chopped
  • 1/4 C green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large garlic clove, fine
  • Pinch thyme, cayenne
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 # crabmeat
  • 1/8 C green onions
  • 1/4 C Romano cheese
  • Dash Worcestershire
  • fresh bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onioon, celery, green pepper, garlic and thyme in 1 stick butter until onion transparent. Add crabmeat, green onions, cayenne and Worcestershire. Simmer 10 minutes. Mix in with remaining ingredients and pat into 12 cakes and saute in remaining butter.
