Ingredients

  • 1 Cup (2 sticks) Butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 Cups Organic White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Cups Flour (I used Hodgson Mill Naturally White)
  • 2/3 Cup Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 Tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 2 Bars Lindt White Chocolate Coconut Bars, placed in freezer for a few minutes and chopped
  • 3/4 Bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, Melted
  • 1 Bar Lindt White Chocolate Coconut Bar, Melted

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; stir into the butter mixture until well blended. Stir in the chopped white chocolate. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes in the preheated oven or just until set. Cool slightly on cookie sheet before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.

While cookies are cooling, melt chocolate chips over a double boiler and drizzle melted chocolate over the cookies. Repeat with the remaining white chocolate bar. Allow chocolate to set and enjoy!!
