Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 can chicken & rice soup
- 3/4 cup celery, chopped
- 4 oz can mushrooms
- 3/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 Tbls brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cup boiling water
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 cup rice, uncooked
- 1 tsp butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup Chow mein noodles
Preparation
Step 1
Cook and stir hamburger, celery and onion until hamburger is light brown. Drain if necessary. Pour water on rice and add salt in a greased 2 qt casserole. Stir in hamburger, soup, mushrooms, sugar, soy sauce and butter. Cover and bake in a 350 oven for stir min. Stir. Cook uncovered for an additional 30 minutes. Stir in noodles and serve immediately.
