Mom's Pumpkin Bread "T" Style

Ingredients

  • 3C ---Sugar
  • 1C ---Margerine
  • 4 ---Eggs (room temp)
  • 2/3C-Water
  • 15oz-Can pumpkin
  • 3.5C-Flour
  • 1.5t--Salt
  • 1t----Vanilla
  • 2t----Cinnamon
  • 1t----Nutmeg
  • 2t----Pumpkin or Apple Pie Spice
  • 1t----All Spice
  • 2t----Baking Soda
  • 1t----Baking Powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.
Combine sugar and margerine, slowly add eggs one at a time then water. In another bowl combine all sifted dry ingredients then slowly add to wet mixing well. Fold in pumpkin. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans. Top with a sprinkle of sugar if desired.
Bake at 350 for aprox 1.25 hours or until done.
Cool completely, wrap and refrigerate or freeze.
