Ingredients
- 8 squares of Bakers Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
- 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers
- 2 candy canes-crushed into small pieces
Preparation
Step 1
Melt chocolate squares in a double boiler; stirring until thoroughly melted.
Add peppermint flavoring to chocolate mixture and stir.
Dip crackers one at time into chocolate mixture and place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet. (use tongs to dip crackers)
Sprinkle with a small amount of the crushed candy cane mixture.
Refrigerate until chocolate is set on crackers. Store in air tight container in the refrigerator.
NOTE: if you want a less sweet cookie replace two squares of the chocolate with unsweetened chocolate squares.
