Ingredients
- Cake: Cooking spray (for baking dish)
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 sm. pkg. vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup oil
- 4 large eggs
- Milk Syrup: 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350'. Lightly mist 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray.
Place cake mix, pudding mix, milk, oil and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat on low until well combined. About 1 min. Increase to medium speed and mix for 2 minutes longer.
Pour batter into baking dish.
Bake for 32-34 minutes until golden brown. Place cake on rack to cool completely about 1 hour. Meanwhile, make milk syrup.
Whisk evaporated milk, cream, vanilla,and sweetened milk in a medium bowl.
Pierce the cooled cake with a fork all over the top. Using a ladle, spoon syrup mixture over the cake. Let the syrup soak into the cake. Cover the cake loosely and refrigerate until all syrup is absorbed. About 2 hours.
