Ingredients
- 1/2 c soft butter
- 1/4 sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/4 c flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- FILLING
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 c chopped walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl cream butter and sugar
Beat in egg and vanilla
Gradually add flour and salt
Press into a greased 9 x 13 pan
Bake at 350 F for 20 min
FILLING
In a bowl combine eggs,brown sugar,flour,salt,baking powder,and vanilla
Spread over crust and bake 25 min at 350 F
Cool on wire rack
LEMON GLAZE
Combine 1 1/2 c icing sugar with 3 Tbsp lemon juice
Spread over filling
