Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 c macaroni, cooked to al dente
  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 2 c milk
  • 2 c shredded old cheddar cheese

Details

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan melt the butter
Saute the flour, mustard and salt for 1 min
Add the milk and, stirring constantly, add the cheese
Continue stirring until the cheese is melted
Pour over the drained macaroni and place in a casserole dish
Bake at 350 F until hot and bubbly-about 3 min
You could add some Panko crumbs and extra cheese on top
