Pumpkin Breads

Ingredients

  • 15 oz pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon & nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 365°. Grease and flour 3 8" X 5 " loaf pans.

In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, eggs oil, water, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, soda, salt cinnamon, nutmeg cloves, and ginger.

Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until blended.

Pour into prepared pans.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes in pans.

Then remove bread from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
