Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 2 Tbsp White Karo Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 2 cups sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Put sugar, syrup, salt, and water together and cook until spins a thread.
Beat butter, flour, eggs, and vanilla
Pour over cooked mixture.
Put in pie crust and bake 10 minutes at 325 and reduce to 250 to continue cooking.
