Creamy Fudge

The only fudge my kids really like. No need to worry about it coming out grainy or sugary. Always creamy.

    about 1 lb


  • 3 6-oz. packages chocolate chips (may use semi-sweet, peanut butter, dark choclate, chocolate mint, or white chocolate)

  • 1 can eagle Brand Sweetened condensed milk

  • 1½ tsp vanilla

  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)


Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk, salt, vanilla, and nuts. Stir until smooth. Spread mixture evenly into waxed paper-lined 8x8 baking pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge out onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store in tightly covered container.
