- 1 8oz block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 lbs powdered sugar
- a few drops food coloring
- 1/2 tsp flavoring

Step 1
Combine cream cheese and butter in a bowl – mix until well blended (this can be done carefully on the stovetop in a heavy bottomed saucepan, also). Add the powdered sugar and stir until well combined – soft dough texture. Add flavor and color. If more than one color or flavor is desired, divide the batch into the number of colors/flavors before adding color and flavor. Dip a small portion in sugar and press into rubber mold. Release on parchment or waxed paper.
