Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 squares (2oz) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until well blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Blend in melted chocolate; mix well. Add flour mixture to butter mixture, mixing until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by mounded tbls about 2 inch apart onto ungreased cookie pan.

Bake 10-12 mins or until edges are set(centers will be soft). Cool 1 min; remove from cookie pan to cooling grid.
