Crock Pot Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 - 2 1/2 lbs. Beef Stew Meat
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • Two 14 1/2 oz. cans Beef Broth
  • 2 - 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 12 baby carrots, sliced
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 4 oz. can Green Giant Mushroom Stems and Pieces, drained

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and water until the mixture becomes a paste. Add the beef broth to the mixture and whisk together. Place the beef stew meat in the Crock pot. Add the salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce to the beef broth mixture. Add the mushrooms, carrots, and potatoes to the Crock pot. Cover the meat and vegetables with the beef broth mixture; Stir the stew together well and cover the Crock pot. Cook on LOW for 10 - 12 hours OR on HIGH for 5 - 6 hours. Stir the stew once more before serving.
