Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the apples, water, mint, apple cider vinegar to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 30 minutes. The sauce will thicken to an chunky mint applesauce.
Meanwhile, season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Place the meat on a broiling pan and broil in the oven on high for 3-5 minutes per side. The time will very slightly depending on the thickness of the meat.
Plate the pork chops and spoon the mint applesauce on top.
