New York System Hot Weiner Sauce

A Rhode Island favorite, great with hot weiners, onions, mustard, and some celery salt!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs. of Hamburg
  • 1/2 TSP Celery Salt
  • 2 TSP Chili Powder
  • 2 Medium Onions chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 TSP Gravy Master

Preparation

Step 1

Brown Hamburg and add all ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer until onions are tender. (about 1 hour) Sauce can be frozen.
