Oriental Broccoli Slaw

I typically use slightly less oil than what this recipe calls for. Olive oil also works well in place of the vegetable oil.

Ingredients

  • SALAD:
  • 2 pkgs. chicken Ramen noodles (crushed)
  • 2 small bags broccoli slaw
  • 1 cup blanched almonds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 cup sliced green onions
  • *Set aside noodle seasoning packets for dressing.
  • DRESSING:
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup sugar (or a little less)
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • seasoning packets from noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Mix salad ingredients together.

Make dressing, blending well, and then
pour over salad just before serving.
