Creamy Chocolate Pound Cake 0 Picture


  • 1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 C water
  • 1/2 C vegetable oil
  • 1/4 C sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1-1/2 t. vanilla
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Step 1

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Spray Magic Fluted Round Form with Vegetable oil cooking spray; dust with flour.

Place dry cake mix, cream cheese, water, oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla in bowl. Beat on low speed until blended; beat 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping down sides of bowl often until batter is smooth and combined well. Pour into prepared Pan.

Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes and invert onto wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
